The 10-Minute Infield Warm-Up
What your infielder should do before every practice and game.
For parents, athletes and coaches · Baseball and softball · Free PDF, 1-page routine

Who this is for
- Parents of infielders who want a pre-game routine they can run themselves
- Players who warm up by playing catch and nothing else
- Youth coaches who need a ten-minute block before practice
What this routine is
Five timed blocks, ten minutes total, built from the footwork sequence M4P teaches on the dirt: first-step readiness, approach angles, glove work and the funnel, the exchange, and throwing on the move. It runs anywhere a glove, a ball and a partner fit, and every block carries the one cue a parent can coach.
What's inside
- Five timed blocks that add up to ten minutes
- Reps for each block and one coaching cue per block
- A timed exchange test with a number to beat tomorrow
- Footwork that carries the throw
How to use it
- 1Print it and keep it in the bat bag.
- 2Run it before every practice and game, in order.
- 3Write down the exchange time; that is the number to beat.
- 4Want the feet coached live? Fielding lessons and the assessment are at /book.
