What this sample is

The first two weeks of the Youth Edition: two short full-body sessions a week plus an optional off-season Play Day, with no-gear swaps. The parent rules, the Readiness Check, the warm-up game, technique pages for every exercise in the sample and the fun tests are all in the file. There are no max lifts and no weighted-baseball throwing, and pain means stop.

What's inside

  • Parent rules and the readiness check: what we skip at this age and when to stop
  • The warm-up game, the dynamic warm-up and the cool-down
  • Weeks 1-2: Day 1, Day 2 and the optional Play Day, with no-gear swaps
  • Technique pages for every exercise in the sample
  • Fun tests and a tracker: broad jump, 10-yard dash, plank and more
  • What comes next: the full 6-month youth program

How to use it

  1. 1Read the Parents Start Here page first. At home, you're the coach.
  2. 2Open with the warm-up game. If they're laughing, you're doing it right.
  3. 3Run the sessions and write the fun-test numbers on the tracker.
  4. 4End while they still want more, and stop for any arm, elbow, knee or heel pain.

When you want the rest of the program

This sample is the real start of the paid program, and the full program picks up right where it leaves off.

The full program

Six months of short sessions for ages 8 to 12, every one written out for a parent to run.
